“Seek & Share” March 28, 2013

Let’s focus on the following points:
·         We pray for each of our missionaries. We pray for their families, provision, and their mission.
Captain Leslie Nelson – Foursquare Chaplain, GA
    Essential2Life - Atlanta
    Bridges For Peace - Israel
The Agapao Foundation – Sri Lanka
Lee & Lisa Schnabel - Chile
City of Hope Children's Home – Brazil
The Balog Family, Campus Crusade for Christ – Hungary
    Fountain of Hope – Atlanta
    Dominican Republic Missions Project
Santa Cruz Hope Church – California
And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for us. 2 Corinthians 1:11

·         We pray for continued “Breakthrough Victory” in areas of personal struggle, lack, brokenness, and limitations.
Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. Psalm 98:1

·         We pray for family members, friends, co-workers and those that haven’t accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord of their life. May they feel the love of the Lord in a tangible way and drawn to repentance. We pray this Easter many will come to know Jesus as Savior.
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2b

·         Pray that we will live by faith and not live by fear. That we would be strengthened with God’s love and perseverance.
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:3-5

“Seek & Share” March 21, 2013

Let’s focus on the following points:
·         We pray that each one of us will know God’s purpose and how He wants each of us to partner with Him for His Kingdom. That we will continually offer ourselves as a servant to the Lord.

Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:38 (NKJV)

·         We pray that God will give the women of Refuge West boldness to lead others into the Kingdom.

Be strong and of courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)

...and who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?   Ruth 4:14b (ESV)

·         We pray for financial blessings over each family and Refuge West. We pray that resources would be released for ministry beyond our comprehension. We pray that we would be obedient, faithful stewards of every blessing the Lord has released.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says, “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

·         We pray that each man, woman and children will be filled with confidence through the Holy Spirit to live faithfully for the Lord.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Seek & Share 3-14-13

Let’s focus on the following points:
·         We pray for restoration of broken relationships.
"And be kind one to another tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32

·         A Prayer from Saint Francis of Assisi:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

·         We ask God to teach us how to become more Christ-like.
Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth. Psalm 86:11 (NKJV)

·         We pray for wisdom and the discipline to seek His face and listen for His instructions.
Blessed is the woman who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
    Nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But her delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law she meditates day and night.
She shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever she does shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3

·         We will bless the Lord and thank Him with a grateful heart for health, protection, financial blessings and encourage other sisters with testimonies of God’s blessings in our lives. Help us Lord to be satisfied with your provisions.
I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1
